Some of the staff have reported this to the union representative and a meeting is being held tomorrow with the management and the union to see if they can be persuaded to shelve their plans. I really think that the management should change their mind about this plan because, not only is it not necessary in our company, but I feel that the management will seriously alienate the workforce if they put this into practice. I think the wise move for all concerned would be to forget about this idea.
